No. Our primary lending partner does not require you to own the property where the structure is going. This means:
Structures placed at boarding or training facilities can qualify
Leased farms and family land can qualify
Properties owned by a business entity or trust can qualify
Through Pure Finance, there are no minimum monthly payments and no interest during the first 6 months. Important details:
This is not 0% financing with recurring monthly payments — to avoid all interest, the entire balance must be paid off before the 6-month promo period ends
Any remaining balance after 6 months becomes a fixed 10-year loan at 9.99% APR
Loan amounts from $7,500 to $20,000 — apply as an individual or with a co-applicant
You must own your primary residence (it cannot be owned by a business entity); you do not have to own the property where the structure is going
Not available to customers living in New York or Massachusetts
A FICO score of 680 or higher qualifies for our fixed-rate loan program up to $100,000. Below 680, you still have options:
Rent-to-Own — no credit check required, up to $25,000

Several paths work for larger center-aisle barns and barndominiums:
Multiple household members can each apply for their own Consumer Financing loan up to $100,000
Building Loan (Thrive Financial) — fixed terms up to 20 years for barns going on property you own
Home equity options fund up to $750,000 for homeowners
Apply using your Total Household Income, entered as annual (not monthly) income:
Under "Individual Income," include your spouse's income
Under "Additional Income," include the income of any other individuals living with you
Rent-to-Own requires no credit check. A down payment or deposit is usually required. You make fixed monthly payments for up to 4 years and own the structure once the contract is completed. Because this is a rental agreement and not a loan, you are responsible for every scheduled rent payment. Available up to $25,000. Structures that do not qualify:
2-story structures
Timber frame structures
Pergolas, pavilions & built-on-site structures
Structures permanently anchored to a foundation (including modular center-aisle barns)
